If you want some extra credits in Master of Orion, hold in the ALT key and type MOOLA. Each time this is done you get 100 credits. ALT-GALAXY also has some results, but as of press time I have not been told. --- If using a hex editor (like Norton or PCTools DiskEdit), you can beef up your planets - or any one else's...hehe Here's how... load up the SAVE1.GAM (or whatever) file and search for the planet you want to modify. Let's say its "Maalor". You see the record like this Maalor....(junk hereafter) ^ this M is what I call byte 1 of the record. Using that as a base to go on, here's what I've found: Bytes 27 and 29 are the Base Planet Size Byte 31 is the current/terraformed planet size byte 59 is the planet population (byte 60 used if > 255) byte 63 is the number of factories (byte 64 used if > 255) byte 95 is the number of missile bases The following have not been confirmed: Bytes 81 and 83 are current 'build points' byte 105 is the planetary shielding level
