Cheat mode: 
To activate cheats, begin the game with the -Mudd command line parameter (ie.
c:\botf\trek.exe -Mudd). Now start a game and enter the following cheats: 

F9      100% research points
F10     10,000 credits  
F11     Full map

View cutscenes:
Begin the game with the following command line parameters (ie. c:\botf\trek.exe
-bones) :

-bones          Alliance formed
-kirk           Planet destroyed 
-gorn           Lost game
-picard         Won game
